The American Occupational Therapy Association Guide Posts for Vision 2025 mention that occupational therapy practitioners must be leaders in influencing and changing complex systems and work to ensure services are accessible, collaborative, and effective (AOTA, 2017). However, challenges exist for quality of healthcare in the United States (U.S.).  This presentation considers the background for quality in healthcare and provides resources for quality improvement in OT practice.
