Safe engagement in driving and community mobility is essential for supporting independence.  Occupational therapy has a central role in addressing this. Understanding and implementing changes based on how occupational therapy and other professionals’ assessments and treatments impact community mobility can result in improved communication and rehabilitation outcomes. Analyze your practice and design opportunities for assessment, intervention and collaboration with the interprofessional team.
